Hmm, point taken.
This is a bit different to a Yahoo-based email group
that I run, where I take stuff as digest. Users can
also take individual messages, and/or not take
messages at all and read it via the web-based
archives.
Replying can be achieved from reading a message on the
web-based archive, or by replying to an individual
message.
For now I will switch to individual messages, but
could someone with admin access to all the mailman
lists put a warning on the options page to say you
lose the ability to reply properly to digest mail?
Note that I read it at yahoo.com.au, and when reading,
I have to wait for a round-trip delay on each message,
rather than once per digest (yahoo does spit out
rather a lot for each message you read).
Of course, this message won't thread properly, but
this should be one of the last.
Nick Bishop, email replies ignored.
