Ok, please bare with me here, I don't often play with the kernel, actually hardly ever so the learning curve for me is a bit steep.
Why would I need to build the kernel from the source if I've alreay got a working kernel installed. As I understand it, ndiswrapper just needs the kernel source to compile.
