wireless connection

I had the same problem today.

Downloaded the firmware for ipw2200 which seems to be missing from:
http://ipw2200.sf.net/firmware.php

And copied the files into /lib/firmware.
Then I restarted the computer (a windows habit, but I am sure there is
another way, I read "rmmod ipw2200; modprobe ipw2200" but it didn't seem
to work). Just switched to FC4 2 days ago.
After that I had my wireless connection working.

The error message I had was nearly identical to the one you are showing
us.
