Of course that matters, as Postfix is a very different MTA and requires
a different setup. Though my general statements about controlled IPs of
senders and SMTP AUTH for roaming users are valid for Postfix too. You
just have to set it up differently. It is explained in the basic
documentation on http://www.postfix.org/.
