FWIW ArcServe (now BrightStor) has Windows, Macintosh OSX and Unix
'client agents' which allow you to back those systems up as well - each
client agent is approx. $ 190 - There are also multi-licenses for 10+
systems.
Not wishing to denigrate any open source backup solutions - just
pointing out that there is an option to back up the Unix & Windows
systems with ArcServe (BrightStor). I am using all of them.
