dashboard and beagle are different projects.  beagle was started to be a
backend for dashboard.  beagle is just a search tool, dashboard will sit
on the side of your desktop and automatically display information
related to what's going on in other programs.  for example, chat to
someone about your trip to spain and dashboard will--without you doing
anything more--display links to your photos from spain, your emails
about it, etc.

or at least that's what i recall the project to be.
