fedora on M70_204

I want to ask if someone have successufully installed FC4/5 on a toshiba 
M70-204 laptot. I have a  graphical card problem. I have installed 
alghout  SUSE linux without problem. The only problem is that I am very 
attached to FC distribution. The driver found on toshiba website has 
been succeefully installed but it don t recognise the screen  (screen 
not found) even after reboot. when doing a remote access and used a 
distant X server , I got the graphical applications. I think that means 
that the driver is correctly installed???
