OT: When will the Apache folks release 2.2 binaries for Windows?

This has been driving me nuts for months trying to figure out why they 
didn't release binaries for 2.2 for *nix and Windows concurrently, like 
they always have. What has been the reason, and is there a 2.2 Windows 
binary forthcoming?

Thanks to anyone who can point me the way to the reasoning behind it and 
if/when it will be released for Windows directly from Apache.
