Sorry, what I meant was that the original problem (networking never
works) remains even if hostap_cs is blacklisted (and doesn't get
loaded).  So I'm not sure that hostap_cs is causing this problem, it
might just be an innocent bystander.

Thanks, I'll give this a try, although it might be a few days.  I'm
not the primary user of the notebook, and my family is getting a bit
peeved at the time I'm spending trying to debug this.
