How to install Java/Frefox in FC6 -

I couldn't get it to work.  Firefox reported it as installed but 
applets did not work.  I had installed the rpm version with jpackage. 
 I removed all of the 1.6 parts and put 1.5.0_09 back in and that 
works fine again.

If you get 1.6 to work, please post directions for the rest of us 
blivets.
