How to install Java/Frefox in FC6 -

At long last I got the 1.6 Java plugin to work in FF in FC 6.   The 
plugin as well as as the Java contol panel (jcontrol) require 
libstdc++.so.5 to operate.  This is an older version then the one that 
ships with FC 6 (libstdc++.so.6.0.8).  After I installed 
compat-libstdc++-33 both the plugin and jcontrol started working.
