X dri problem with kernel 1830

Quite a few people had a similar problem with radeon graphics with the new
kernel. Some, me included, found that if you do 
yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update module-init-tools

Then reboot - you may find the problem goes away....if not then try without dri.
