Problems with my pipe

Ugh!  It's all diseased... you must have stuck it in a Windows box.  Put
it away!

> $ mkfifo testpipe

If in one console session I do

cat testpipe

whick blocks, and then in another

echo "hello" >testpipe

then everything works.  So I guess the problem is only that you have
nobody listening at the other end of the pipe?
