Corrupt Superblock on /home - semi-hijack

I've found the TeskDisk utility, and tried it.  I got as far as rebuilding the 
Boot Sector and being able to list the directories, but it says it is unable 
to write the new Boot Sector.  Without that I don't see how the data is 
recoverable.  Any advice, anyone, please?
