rpmbuild glibc

		A few simple answers to your questions:

> If I use rpmbuild -bb to build glibc, is the new glibc

	Short answer: No. 
	Long Answer: check the man page for rpmbuild ("man rpmbuild"), that'll describe what the command line options do.

I am wondering if I should
> use the -bc option if I don't want it to install

	In that case, I don't think the binary RPMs ("*.i386.rpm", for example), will be created.  
> Also, when I want to install a new glibc rpm, would

Do I have to reboot the system
