Try to mirror the rpm updates but not successive when issued command;

Not successive when issued command;

--partial --timeout=300 -vprt --exclude debug/  rsync: //ftp.ndlug.nd.edu/fedora-linux-core/updates/4     /mnt/ms/fc4updates

(And rsync progress goes on like below)
receiving file list ... done
created directory /mnt/ms/fc4updates
4/
4/SRPMS/
rsync: mkstemp "/mnt/ms/fc4updates/4/SRPMS/.GFS-6.1.0-3.src.rpm.twRItE" failed: No such file or directory (2)
rsync: mkstemp "/mnt/ms/fc4updates/4/SRPMS/.GFS-kernel-2.6.11.8-20050601.152643. FC4.14.src.rpm.Lfal52" failed: No such file or directory (2)

and many more like above.
----------------------------------
I noticed that under my original \mnt\ms\fc4updates , it is changed to \mnt\ms\fc4updates\4, and under \4 there are four sub-folders created as well; \i386, \ppc, \SRPMS, \x86_64.
Do I have to erase the original /mnt/ms/fc4updates(some update rpm packages already existing) and create a new empty foleder for update rpms synchronization? what other preparation do I have to do, I just want do sy! nchronize the fc4 i386 rpm packages and no the others like \ppc,\SRPMS,\x86_64
Thanks again
