Humm, unless FC4 has seriously fouled its nest, one really should be 
able to do something along the lines of this from a root shell:

#>chkconfig cups-config-daemon off
#>service cups-config-daemon stop

And it should be stopped forever.

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules.  I do use spamassassin too. :-)
