Hi

As detailed out in the email, the amount of public responses that are
positive towards this will the Fedora Foundation secure non-profit
status. The intention is invest these funds to help improve the project
in various ways. For example. travel sponsorships to community members
to attend FUDCon's ( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FUDCon/) or sponsor a
particular project or provide bounties. The foundation board will decide
where to invest these funds on and I believe the financial details would
be transparent to the community at large.

Thats just additional work for not so significant gain. The
implementation might not be the optimal way but the intention is to
gather community responses. So kindly send your response to the mail.
Whatever results it might be will influence the foundation decisions and
will have a major impact on how the foundation is setup and whether you
will be able to get tax benefits from any potential donations that you
provide to the foundation.
