problem with port!

I have a strange problem with java rmi on FC4
I can open the same port many times. For example, I can open the port 1099
many times.

$] rmiregistry 1099 &

$] rmiregistry 1099 &

Normally, I can't run rmiregistry two times on the same port !!!

Can you help me?
