tv card (saa7133) autodetected but no sound

Hi all,

I popped a Pinnacle 40i tv card (based on the saa7133) chipset, and
much to my pleasure it was automatically recognized by FC5 upon
reboot.

I then installed tvtime. Video works fine. But no audio.

I just spent an hour or so fiddling with the sliders in both
gnome-volume-control and alsamixer to no avail. I am quite sure at
this point that no key channel is muted.

Any other ideas?

Audio from amarok etc works fine. I am running the 2.6.17-1.2145 kernel.
