Extras is available rpm by rpm. All you need is a script that knows
which rpms to grab; shouldn't be hard to pull 'em and burn 'em.

Why do people keep saying this? Fedora Extras and Fedora Core are not
the same thing. Just because KDE would be better off in Extras does not
mean Red Hat is ready to give up the extra responsiblity they take for
Gnome and all the other Core packages.

The reason KDE would even be considered for Extra's is because it
doesn't get the attention within Red Hat that Gnome does. Remember,
Red Hat is a _Gnome_ shop! That doesn't mean that Red Hat wants to
leave KDE users out in the cold, just that they're not equipped to
give it the attention it deserves. So the reasons that exist to
inspire the move of KDE to extras just don't hold for Gnome.

Calling for Gnome to move to Extras totally misses the reason the split
of Core / Extras exists in the first place. It's to separate the
things that Red Hat wants to keep more in house, and the things that
the community has more direct control over.
