FC5 rpm database corrupt

FC-5, I probably wouldn't use apt/synaptic
rpm -e --allmatches some-duplicated-package
I am not sure that exceptionally conservative and enabling livna and
kde-redhat repos is an oxymoron. Not that there is anything bad with
either repo...just the only exceptionally conservative setup is the
default.
