Back to Fedora

After a three month Kubuntu spree, I'm back to Fedora. I learned some
new things while using a Debian-based system, namely, how much I
prefer a RH-based system!

Quite a few things have changed in FC5, and there are some thingsthat
I just can't get working. Here are some questions, if someone could
help me out:
- "New ->" has been removed from the right-click menu in Konqi. How do
I reenable it?
- Icons can now be placed anywhere on the desktop and in folders. I
prefer the grid method, where ever icon is centered on a grid. The
grid makes for less visual clutter. How do I enable it?
- I've no screensavers! I see much talk about this, but I don't want
to install them all. I only want to install the screensaver that
displays a slideshow of my personal photographs. Can I install only
that one, or must I install them all?
- The Save-a-Session tick box is gone. I've seen it mentioned, but
found no solution. Is there? I'd rather not use a start-up script, as
it would cahnge frequently, and the wife is not techie enough for it.
(well, neither am I)
- How do I go about using Gnome-VFS in KDE? I really don't want to
switch to Gnome, but I need this feature.
- My screen refresh rate is 70 Hz. Why isn't 85 Hz available on the
dropdown list? Until now, every distro has given me a choice of 85
Hz.

Thanks, everyone. Glad to be back /home.
