only 11Mb/s with bcm43xx on F5?

I'm using bcm43xx-fwcutter-004-1.fc5 on FC5, but I'm only getting an
11Mb/s connection on a DLink DI624 router. I have an HP Compaq nx9110
with this wireless card:
Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN
Controller (rev 03)

I've been googling and not finding much. Should I be able to make a
54Mb/s connection? In the Network applet 11 is the maximum option.
