vnc

I am running Centos 4.1
Is there anybody who can tell me which files I have to change to let
vncviewer work?
I changed /etc/services
vnc-1024x768x16 5900/tcp
I added in /etc/xinetd.d the file vnc

> service vnc-1024x768x16
> {
>         disable = no
>         socket_type     = stream
>         wait            = no
>         user            = nobody
>         group           = tty
>         server          = /usr/bin/vncserver
>         server_args     = -geometry 1024x768 -depth 16
> }

But it doesn't works. 
Any ideas?
