Not a trick question. In a terminal
konsole echo "reminder text"
opens a console, but doesn't continue to the echo part. Presumably the two
commands have to be tied together in some way.
I'll give kalarm a try, as Carroll suggested. All the same, I'd like to know
how I could have done it.
