will regularily have an updated version of the kernel source code, right?


If you perform the update and installation yourself, i.e. write a cron
script,  the answer is yes; otherwise, no. Yum does not install
kernel.src.rpm files (reference bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=191564 ).
