Thanks for the info on Linuxant.. 

However, I was looking for someone who'd say, I'll ship you the wireless card, and give me access to the appropriate software with instructions... a simple package of cards/software would make the whole process simple. which is what it's going to need to be if you're going to have wireless Linux be used by more than the bleeding edge techs!!

Bruce, they have.  I posted this earlier, evidently people aren't
looking at the whole thread.

Go to

And get both their version of the ndiswrapper, plus a matching kernel to
go with it, that has 16 stacks compiled in.  They DO give support, and a
trial timeperiod so that you can decide if the driver works for you
before you pay for it.  The other thing is that they can give you
support, since they charge for these services.
