That's for ipv4 domains I believe. Actually, disableIPv6 should be left
at it's default setting "false". I had the same problem as the OP when I
installed firefox 2.0. Changing that disableIPv6 thingy to true, slowed
things down even more :-( Turns out the setting for how firefox connects
to the Internet was set for proxy. Changing this setting to direct
Internet connection fixed my problem A.S.A.P. :-) I suspect this setting
may fix the OP's problem as well.
