Fedora Core boot problem

the only problem with your method craig, is that after i install, it 
should take you to the setup screen to setup usernames etc. Well i tried 
it then anyway, but to no effect. Is there a way that i can use the grub 
bootloader to boot into a command line for fc6 and edit the file you 
mentioned earlier, and then possibly restart normally and see if that 
does the trick?
