open doc work file (6F8CC24Ed01) using abiword

Hi,
the mozplogger dowmloads a word document with  a random name, for example,
6F8CC24Ed01. wbiword doesn't know this is .doc file. how to tell abiword
open this file as a .doc file? OO writer can open this
