Nothing. It seems that some like to use the "Reply" feature or their email
client to prevent having to type in the list recipient address manually.
Unfortunately, this includes the message IDs of replied-to email and other
messages in the same thread in the new message's headers (In-Reply-To,
References), which is what most good mail  clients use to show the mails in
a "threaded" view. Hence, why it's a subthread.
