Starting networking at boot frequently failed

Hi folks,

FC5_64
Broadband - ADSL
Dynamic IP address

During booting, starting networking frequently failed rusulting in unable to connect broadband.  I have to manually connecting broadband with;

KStart --> Admin --> Network, starting "Network Configuration" --> highlight "ppp0 ISP xDSL" --> 'Activate" to Active it.

Remark:
"Activate device when computer starts" - checked
"Allow all users to enable and disable the device" - checked
"Autromatically obtain IP address settings with [dhcp]" - checked
"Automatically obtain DNS information from provider" - checked.

Please advise how to check and correct the problem.  TIA
