>From time to time, my modem gets deadlocked and I have to power cycle
it. I just thought it could be easier to have a software way of doing
that. And, actually, it can be done with the web interface of my modem
(an Ethernet ADSL one; brand: SpeedTouch). Likewise William, my modem
is not physically very accessible by hand...
