I can remember a file for configuring suspend where you could tell
it to reload the sound modules on resume, but now I can not find it.
One thing you ca try is to create a file /etc/sysconfig/pm, if you
do not have one, and add a line:

SUSPEND_MODULES=snd_cs46xx

or add snd_cs46xx to the SUSPEND_MODULES list if there already is one.
