warnings on todays tetex update

Ah, so when the update removes the older version, it can't remove the 
.map files because it can't be sure that the user didn't customize them 
in some way, is that it?

I'm not used to seeing this situation--most updates seem to handle 
updating their config files cleanly, unless I actually do modify 
something of course.

The two are not mutually exclusive; it may not be a bug, but it maybe 
could be handled differently. A "normal warning" often indicates a 
design problem at some level.
