how does network install figure out 64-bit from 32-bit?

I see, so that is the only recourse then....The reason I was trying to avoid that is because it burns an entire CD for something so small....

That doesn't appear to be one of your available choices.
Why not just burn boot.iso to a CD and boot off of that?
