If you are "in the corporate world", can't you afford to pay someone
to tell you what computers will work with Linux (if that is what you want)?

You sound to me as if you are in the wrong line of business.
That is what one does all the time, with all computers under all OS's.

I've always thought that is the difference between me and a computer guru.
He/she will have tried 10 different things while I am reading the manual.

I don't have your WiFi card, sorry.

I do have a Marvell/ACX111 which isn't working, if that is any consolation.
