rpmbuild FAIL while packaging symlinks

I'm not familiar with build packages, but are you doing that more than
once?  (Rerunning the script.)  It looks a bit circular.

Setting up for a test:
[tim at bigblack tmp]$ cd tmp
[tim at bigblack tmp]$ touch libmylib.so

First run:
[tim at bigblack tmp]$ mv ./libmylib.so ./libmylib.so.1
[tim at bigblack tmp]$ ln -s ./libmylib.so.1 libmylib.so

Second run:
[tim at bigblack tmp]$ mv ./libmylib.so ./libmylib.so.1
mv: `./libmylib.so' and `./libmylib.so.1' are the same file

Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.  Today, it's FC7.
