Thanks Axel and Tim.  There was a "script" to run

BUT, it had two bugs: a typo on lines 11 and 13.

line 11 WAS:
KARCH=$(rpm -q kernel --qf "%{arch}\n | tail -n 1")

Supposed to be:
KARCH=$(rpm -q kernel --qf "%{arch}\n" | tail -n 1)
--->The last quote on the line was in the wrong place.


line 13 WAS:
if [ $KARCH == "i586" ]; then

Should be:
if [ $KARCH == "i586" ] ; then
--->put a space between the ] and ;

I also installed camstream.

now it recognized the device, but seems to not be able to display anything.
