In this case it is not as drastic as it seems because I have
nothing of importance in the partition, and the wait time
forces me to take care of neglected matters not related
to computers. I am sure, however, that I will make use of
your advice in the future.
On my fresh system, I intend to proceed using bcm43xx-fwcutter
followed by wpa_supplicant. From what I have seen so far,
I think that I should be able to get my WiFi to work with these.
What do you think?
