I don't believe there's a law that requires libata to replace legacy
drivers. At least one other current distro provides an option to use them
instead so that upgrades that don't require destroying current >15
partitioning and backup schemes that depend on it.

I gave up trying to find useful info pertaining to F7 or Rawhide and filed a
