Panel applets fail to load on LTSP terminal

With respect to this bug, I found a webpage where someone on Ubuntu stated that
he had problems like this with Tomboy.  Which I just happen to have on my panel.

I couldn't manage to log in on my terminal today without all of the panel
applets failing.  "The panel encountered a problem while loading...", one for
each of my panel applets (clock, workspace switcher, weather, etc.)

I killed and restarted my panel a dozen times with no change.

I then did some searching and found mention of this Tomboy situation here:

I deleted Tomboy from my panel, restarted it and everything loaded.

I'm not yet sure if it was a coincidence or not.  But it's an interesting
occurrence.
