How to get the update notifications working on a installed Fedora KDE Live CD? + wireless problems + RHGB

i`m connected with a wire now.
i have a update ready to install and still no notifications of it..
btw.. "notify-send something" works fine...

It's in the xorg-x11-driver-i810 package. That package contains both the
> old "i810" driver and the new "intel" driver.


that one is installed.. even all the xorg-x11-drv-***** packages are
installed.
