DVD ISO install hangs?

I installed FC7 and went through the Initial log in where I enter the
username and password I want to use on the system.
Since it is an internal machine I disable SELinux and I disable the
firewall.
The system reboots and then it hangs or seems to hang and the only thing I
see on screen is the cursor with a blue background...

Anyone else have the same issue?
