FC6 vs FC6 respin? how to tell?

i just ran "volname" and got "FC/6 i386 DVD", and i've also verified
that this DVD *is* just an original FC6, not a respin.  would the
respin have had a different volname?  that would pretty much
settle this.  thanks.
