Old notebook w/o cdrom or floppy. How to install?

Yes he does. RAM is a rather tight though, disk space is plenty.
128MB is not good with Gnome/KDE or OpenOffice but fine with Abiword/XFCE
from extras.

You can network install - PXE boot the kernel and install image from the
CD images directory.
