network profiles - do they work for you? they are broken for me!

I tested NetworkManager, as you can see in this video:

and NetworkManager under fedora doesn't have any options for
configuring "profiles" with static IP addresses - one feature I found
Ubuntu NetworkManager has, as you can see on this video:

I'm aware of that, any if you saw my previous two videos I have you
links for you can see it also... maybe the naming of my previous video
is a bit misleading...

I read:
/usr/share/doc/NetworkManager-0.6.5/README

and it says that NetworkManager is only for DHCP networks :(
That is not what I use most of the time... I usually use fixed IP addresses.

I'm not that of a newbie :) I'm in linux for a while...
