Connecting Net through Desktop

I think that reconfiguring /etc/sysctl.conf to change this entry:

  net.ipv4.ip_forward = 0

To equal "1" is all that you'd need to do to make a permanent change, to
use that machine as a gateway.  You might have to play with firewall
rules, too.

Using FC 4, 5, 6 & 7, plus CentOS 5.  Today, it's FC7.
