I dont take those risks, for an example if we ever only use intel gbit, 
build it into kernel, theres no point in having 30 others or modules 
(including far flung ones) for 10/100 installed or other gbit for that 
matter, and no point having raid modules built when we use real hardware 
raid controllers, why put another 20 graphics modules in when the machines 
only use one type, then theres bluetooth and amatuer radio and radio and 
tv and sound, yes all modern day requirments on servers (NOT).
